ANDOVER, MD (AFX) - Compaq Computer Corp said it will pay 20 mln usd for
a 4 pct stake in CMGI Inc’s CMGion venture.
Compaq will also provide appliances, server and storage platforms, key
operating components and technical support to the venture, it said.
The CMGion venture’s core business is providing a global network of
caching and anynomous, profile-based services, which are designed to enhance
the performance and functionality of the internet.
